Admissions
The Admissions Process
Concordia Academy welcomes applications from students desiring a challenging academic program within a Christian environment. All applicants must meet the enrollment guidelines established by the Board of Directors. Each applicant is evaluated on the following items: entrance exam, essay, report card, transcript, recommendations, and a personal interview with the principal.
Procedure
- The admissions process begins with submission of a complete application. A complete application packet consists of a) the application form, b) additional documents and recommendations, and c) the registration fee. An application checklist is a part of the application form for your convenience.
- The registration fee is nonrefundable. The only condition under which the fee will be refunded is if the student is not accepted.
- The Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) is a three-hour, nationally normed, standardized test administered at sites throughout the Austin area.
- Parents are responsible for handling all registration and payment requirements directly through the ISEE organization. Concordia Academy 's Test Site Code is 447580. To register for the ISEE, call 1-800-446-0320, visit www.iseetest.org, or mail the registration form found in the Online ISEE Guide brochure in your application packet.
- An unofficial transcript covering previous high school work is required for students applying for grades 10 - 12.
- All information requested above must be received prior to the application review. Upon a successful review, the final requirement is an interview of the applicant and his/her parent(s) with the Executive Director or the principal.
- A letter of acceptance will be mailed to all accepted students.
- The first tuition payment is due at final registration.
- All new students are required to attend Final Registration in August.
